The Navy Gold Star Program is eternally grateful for the sacrifice of those Service Members who have died in service to our country. To help us to never forget, we have set up this tribute page to honor and remember the memory of those lives. Ayana was a sailor and full-time student at North Carolina Central University. Ayana was born and raised in San Diego, CA and lived life to the fullest in her 24 years that we had the pleasure of spending with her. Ayana’s infectious smile and laughter would light up any environment that she was in.  Ayana is truly missed not only by her parents but her younger brother, older sister and a host of family and friends.
