“Forever Loved, Never Forgotten”

The Navy Gold Star Program is eternally grateful for the sacrifice of those Service Members who have died in service to our country. To help us to never forget, we have set up this tribute page to honor and remember the memory of those lives. Madison T. Landers was born in Anniston, AL, but grew up in Auburn, AL, Kennesaw, GA, Pell City, AL, and Apopka, FL. He obtained his BS in Business Supply Chain Management at Auburn University in 2010 and worked in the public sector for many years, but was not satisfied. Madison entered the Navy in 2018 at age 30. He wanted to become a Navy Officer and be married with a family. In the Navy, Madison became passionate about serving his country. After months of training, he achieved the status of Fire Controlman (FC) and he was being deployed to the USS Stethem. Madison enjoyed socializing with his family and friends. He loved playing golf and tennis, going fishing, and enjoying outdoor adventures. He was an avid gamer. Madison loved Auburn University sports and was an enthusiastic alum. His beloved pet Rosie, a black Labrador, was his faithful companion. Madison is remembered by his father and stepmother, Tim and Maureen Landers, his mother and stepfather, Katy and Carl Goodgame, and his sister, Lisa Landers.
