“Forever Loved, Never Forgotten”

The Navy Gold Star Program is eternally grateful for the sacrifice of those Service Members who have died in service to our country. To help us to never forget, we have set up this tribute page to honor and remember the memory of those lives. If you would like to honor the memory of your Sailor, Soldier, Marine, Airman or Coast Guardsman through the Navy Gold Star website please submit your thoughts and a photo.

Michael entered into the Navy in August 1995 right out of high school. He loved Star Trek and video games so he chose the Enterprise as his first ship.  At that time he didn't realize he would make a career out of the Navy. He sailed on several ships and worked his way up to being Sr. Chief Petty Officer. He was very humble about his career so we were unaware of his many accomplishments. He served a little over 22 years. Several months before his retirement, he met with an untimely death. He is greatly missed by those who served under him and by his family at home. We are very proud of Michael.
