“Forever Loved, Never Forgotten”
The Navy Gold Star Program is eternally grateful for the sacrifice of those Service Members who have died in service to our country. To help us to never forget, we have set up this tribute page to honor and remember the memory of those lives. If you would like to honor the memory of your Sailor, Soldier, Marine, Airman or Coast Guardsman through the Navy Gold Star website please submit your thoughts and a photo.
Joseph “Joey” Pudlowski was born in Bremerton, WA, and grew up in McKeesport, PA, where he attended McKeesport High School. After high school, Joey learned the carpentry trade and worked as a builder until he joined the Navy in 2001. Once in the Navy, Joey joined the SeaBees and was assigned to the NMCB74 Battalion where his skills as a builder were put to good use. Always one to live in the present, Joey lived life to the fullest, says his father, Mark. Joey loved Bassie, his Bassett Hound, playing baseball, and soccer, four-wheeling and helping children. He is remembered by his family, Mark and Susan Pudlowski, and his younger brothers, Ryan Adam and Daniel Pudlowski.
